PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
A student in the nail technology program will learn the three major applications of artificial nails: acrylic, wraps and gels, as well as how to deliver an amazing manicure and pedicure that will keep even the most finicky clients coming back. The program also provides students with a solid foundation in the science of nail care, with a focus on safety to protect our graduates and their clients. Completion of the 300-hour course results in the awarding of a certificate and qualifies graduates to apply for a New York State Nail Technology License.

How do we obtain the placement rates information?
The placement rate is based on program completers who were employed within 180 days of program completion and were employed for at least 13 weeks. To obtain the placement rate information, career services calculates with the following mathematical formula: Total Placed nail tech graduates divided by total nail tech graduates minus the exempt nail tech graduates.
