About Make Up Artistry
The Make Up Artistry certificate* program prepares you to specialize in the art of make up application in a variety of beauty fields like Bridal, Fashion, Performing Arts and Retail Sales. This new program is the most in depth and hands on program in the area emphasizing the integration of theory and practical experience. You will start with learning the fundamentals of make up application – how to analyze facial features, skin types and bone structure to determine the appropriate technique to create the right look for the right occasion or event. This program also gives you the opportunity to focus on two specific areas of make up application of your choice – Bridal, Airbrush, Creative/Special Effect and Photographic/Film. Upon completion you will have a portfolio and the skills to start a professional practice.
