Instructors - Barbering & Cosmetology
Austin's School of Spa Technology is seeking qualified teachers for daytime positions in Cosmetology and evening positions in Barbering. Requirements include: appropriate and valid New York State license in respective area and a minimum of 2 years working experience in the field. Successful candidates should have teaching/training experience and positive attitudes. Must be team-oriented, detail-oriented and organized, and possess the ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently. Admissions Representative
The main role of this position is to recruit and enroll students into the various programs offered at the school. As an Admissions Representative you will enjoy the opportunity to help others achieve their goals and change their lives through education. Associate's or Bachelor's degree strongly preferred, postsecondary education experience required. Previous sales or admissions experience is helpful. Proficiency in MS Office required; experience with databases preferred. Successful candidate must be detail-oriented and organized, able to work well in a fast-paced deadline driven work environment, and work well with a wide variety of people. Clinic Coordinator
Manage all operations of public clinics for the Austin’s School of Spa Technology and for the Massage Therapy program at Mildred Elley, including but not limited to client handling, appointment setting, supply management, light bookkeeping, etc. Will oversee part-time clinic representative. Two nights and alternating Saturdays are required. Associate's degree preferred. Experience working in a customer service capacity required. Administrative experience preferred. Must be proficient in keyboarding, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook. Excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
