Flexible Admissions Requirements
Austin's School of Spa Technology will enroll students who have a high school diploma or hold a G.E.D.. In addition, students who have neither may be admitted if they pass an "ability to benefit" evaluation. Call the Office of Admissions today to discuss this option at (518) 438-7879.

We are proud of our national accreditation by the National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Arts and Sciences (NACCAS). We are also licensed by the Bureau of Proprietary School Supervision, New York State Education Department.

New Campus for Learning in Style
We are located in a new campus. The new facility consists of a clinic area, nearly a dozen classrooms, a spa reception area, a student lounge, a locker room, restrooms and administrative offices. Classrooms are equipped with workstations and appearance enhancement equipment. The clinic floor is set up as a full-service salon with reception area. In this setting, students are allowed to work on customers under the supervision of a licensed instructor. There is ample parking available and the building is handicapped-accessible.

Student Staffed Spa and Salon
Austin’s School of Spa Technology offers a full student salon, named Mirror Images Spa & Salon, where students are supervised by faculty and practice their skills on real clients. In addition, students at Austin's undergoes in-depth training with some of the trendiest product lines in the industry, including: Redkin, Mizani and more. These product lines are used in many local salons and spas. Knowing these products will give our students extended marketability in their career.
