Spa - Customer Service Coordinator

Mirror Images Spa & Salon, the student clinic of Austin’s School of Spa Technology & Mildred Elley is seeking a Customer Service Coordinator.

Job Description:

The primary responsibilities of the Customer Service Coordinator will be to provide customer service support for Mirror Images Spa & Salon, including but not limited to scheduling appointments, managing the phones, greeting and checking out clients.  Qualified individual must have excellent communication and organizational skills, be detail-oriented, proficient in Microsoft Word, and Excel, and possess the ability to multi-task. Previous experience a plus, but not required.

Manage all aspects of client relations including scheduling appointments, payment/refund processes and client satisfaction.
•    Work directly with students and faculty to promote sales including services and retail products.
•    Organize and file all clinic related information including but not limited to client cards, waivers, parent permission slips, etc.
•    Upkeep client files to ensure accurate information.
•    Manage inventory control on a daily basis and report inventory orders on a monthly basis.
•    Create and execute client satisfaction and client retention campaigns including but not limited to telemarketing, direct mailing, email campaigning, business partnerships, internal contests, etc.
•    Night and weekend availability a must.

Required & Preferred Credentials:
•    Salon or Spa experience preferred
•    Beauty appearance industry licensed preferred
•    Experience working in customer service and or sales capacity required
•    Marketing or telemarketing experience preferred
•    Administrative experience preferred
•    Must be proficient in keyboarding, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook

Compensation:

Commensurate based on experience.

Esthetics Teacher

Austin's School of Spa Technology, the leader in educating beauty professionals in the Capital District for over 75 years, is seeking a qualified Esthetics Teacher to teach part-time Monday – Friday day and evenings.

Requirements:

Successful candidates must have high school diploma or GED, appropriate and valid New York State license in nail technology and a minimum of 2 years working experience in the field. Teaching/training experience preferred. Must be team-oriented, detail-oriented and organized, and possess the ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently.

Compensation:

Varies, based on qualifications and experience.
