Austin's School of Spa Technology has offered comprehensive training in the area of appearance enhancement for nearly 80 years. The Austin’s program in Cosmetology focuses on development of the knowledge bases and skills that students need not only to pass the New York State Appearance Enhancement Licensing Exam, but also to become exemplary professionals in their chosen career paths.

A license in cosmetology, nails, esthetics or barbering will allow you , the student, to pursue a career that is as individual and creative as you are. If you are looking for a program that values the practical as well as the artistic, the tried-and-true as well as the trendy, and the foundational as well as the fashionable, the Austin’s programs are for you.

Austin’s students are provided with lifetime job placement assistance through our Office of Career Services. Students are given the opportunity to work one-on-one with a member of the Office of Career Services to create and update their resumes, as well as job search and prepare for interviews. This service is provided to all current students and alumni of Austin’s School of Spa Technology.
